Bearz 101

A long time ago in a den not so far away, a small Hug of Teddy Bears were happily snuggling up to a TV to watch the latest episode of their favourite TV series Babylon 5.

Sadly this episode was the infamous "Where All The Honour Lies" which (for the uninitiated) culminates in a poor, innocent, defenceless Bear being unceremoniously stuffed through an airlock by some refugee from The Scarecrow and Mrs King

Imagine the uproar this provoked in the Den; copious tears were shed, hunny pots flew across the room, fur was torn.

........And all in the space of a commercial break

Reduced to whimpering furballs in a corner, they faced the grim reality that they had been betrayed by their idol: "Unca" Joe Straczynski.

However, eventually, after several months of intensive psychiatric counselling, our little heroes emerged....

Harder.....

Having roamed the internet for many months and recruited from all 5 (?) corners of the globe, these furry furies finally based a listening post on CompuServe's SFMEDONE where they were warmly welcomed by the band of "Usual Suspects" already gathered there. When Wizops Wes and Wilma set up a forum specifically for Babylon 5 fans, Da fellas dutifully migrated to the new area. However, these days they are found largely lurking on alt.b5.uk, at conventions and on Panda-moan-ium: a Yahoo club.

Formerly a band of directionless little fuzzies, these are now Bearz with a purpose: To seek out new worlds, to baldly go where.......(sorry wrong show). Their aim: to get Joe Straczynski to appreciate CUTE

(It's OK, George knows about this.......
