a few greetings cards.
The
Bear in the Big Brother House
In the summer of 2000 Da Bearz got really interested in Big
Brother - mostly because one of the human inmates left her
bear behind when she got evicted and Da Fellas figured he has
a good chance of winning the loot. Ironically the following year
BB was far more Bear-orientated but Da Bearz were a bit turned
off when the producers made one participant surrender his bear
in return for a birthday party. Our furry heroes judged this
to be the behaviour of cynical b@st@rds who'd scam their own
granny if they thought it would pull in the ratings and consequently
the guys lost interest.
Interestingly, their assessment was confirmed when the surrendered
toys were subsequently kidnapped by a Bear libearation group (Da
Bearz were also a bit miffed that they hadn't thought of this
first). Not only were the producers cynical manipulators, they
were careless ones too boot.
